Your Skipper Alex
I love all things sailing and have done since the age of 9!
A little about me:
A keen dinghy sailor and competitive racer since childhood, I was bitten by the sailing bug from a young age. Following my graduation from the Falmouth Marine School, I moved from dinghies to keel boats in my early twenties, owning several wooden and GRP yachts and currently own Arcarius, our Bowman 40, which is also offer for skippered charter. Please see www.bluewatercornwall.com for more details.
I have sailed in excess of 25,000 nautical miles in a range of capacities: RYA instructing and mileage builders, own-boat tuition, delivery skipper and crew, charter skipper and of course, cruising and racing my own boats.
I have often been described as having a friendly, pragmatic and outgoing personality with strong theoretical and practical knowledge and a strong crew management skills. With a good sense of humour, I strive to promote a rewarding experience both on and off the water.
